Where do I begin? We booked Steven last April after seeing him at a wedding fair, hearing him play one song we went home and booked him! Since that day we have watched him weekly live and been to many gigs and have been filled with complete excitement for the day ❤ Then 2020 happened, not knowing what will happen. Weddings cancelled, then back on again. Receptions cancelled then back on again with restrictions.. having 1 week to re plan a wedding, not knowing what it will be like.. thinking how can a wedding reception work with social distancing? Steven heath completley made our wedding reception from start to finish. All of our guests had leaflets with a link to send song requests directly to Steven which they found amazing and was hilarious to see so much crazy requests come through.. not only is steven a brilliant singer he provided amazing entertainment and had everyone laughing and dancing at their tables! The thought of having a wedding during a pandemic was petrifying, watching the news, reading the guidelines- thinking how on earth can this possibly work and a week to pull it all together but my god it worked and I would chose a live lounge wedding reception over a pre covid wedding reception any day! The atmosphere steven brought was amazing I honestly do not know how the evening would of worked without him! Our day was certainly not what we originally planned it was so much BETTER- we booked steven as our wedding singer- however he ended up being our singer, advisor, reception planner, comedian and a friend for life! I cannot find the words right now to explain properly how absolutely amazing Steven was.. Booking him after hearing one song last year was the best decision we made.. we will certainly be booking again and he certainly gained fans with our guests! There is such much more i could say but I would take over the whole page. Thank you Steven from the bottom of our hearts thank you for being there for us during the past few stressful months.. you made a wedding during a pandemic absolutely fantastic and better then we ever imagined ❤

We booked Steven after seeing him perform at a friend’s evening do, we loved the atmosphere and vibe that his live music and fabulous voice created. Not only did Steven give an excellent performance at our wedding, what makes his service so brilliant is being able to see him perform in the run up. Whether this be on Facebook live or at one of his gigs. This really helped make the build up to our wedding extra exciting. We’re also looking forward to being able to see him live after our wedding, so that we can enjoy a special part of our day again and again. Steven worked hard to please us, even coordinating ahead of the day with our other entertainment to ensure the evening ran smoothly and even doing a duet. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to get the party started. Be reassured that you WILL NOT be disappointed if you book Steven for your wedding. Also, he will always be on hand to quickly answer any queries, and even point you in the direction of other suppliers for other wedding elements based on his huge experience in the wedding industry. He learnt a song we wanted to walk up the aisle to, we tune in often to his live shows which makes it feel like you have someone familiar playing at your wedding. We had the absolute pleasure of a private gig with Steven at our house last night.We got a top class performance which all of our guests really enjoyed.With Steven it's not just his music that entertains, he's a funny guy, interacts really well with the audience and has plenty of banter.We can't recommend him highly enough and can't wait for him to perform at our wedding.

What a guy!from the day we booked him Steven became part of our family! adding us to his page with weekly/monthly live sessions we've spent many a night sat in bed watching and pestering for songs to get some ideas for our wedding!We then rounded up the troops... mum, best man, maid of honour, bridesmaids the lot to go to his gig in Manchester and what a night that was! so much so that we ended up splashing out another £500 to get him to do a couple of evening sets aswell as the daytime sessions we'd already booked for our big day! and on the day... he definitely didnt disappoint! he knew exactly what songs to play at the right time! singing in our guests, me down the aisle, us both back up the aisle and our drinks receptions! everyone was already coming up to us telling us just how amazing he was! they hadn't heard his evening set yet....I genuinely believe Steven was the man who was responsible for filling our dancefloor and making sure it was full for our whole wedding reception (it wasn't the amount of alcohol everyone had drank during the day, honest!) he sang our first dance, followed by banger after banger that suited every single one of our guests and we had such a random group of guests who prefer all different kinds of music! whenever anyone talks about our wedding his name always comes up aswell and half of my guests are even looking at attending his gigs they loved him that much! thanks you so much for actually making our wedding! I genuinely believe you added that extra touch to make it amazing! now because I wrote you such an amazing review I believe it only right that you do another gig for us in Manchester... I can promise half my guests will probably come with us 😁

Steven, where to begin?! We had Steven at our wedding reception & evening. What a fantastic addition to our day, Steven really made our day and I couldn’t have imagined our day without him! The guests spoke so highly of him and were all asking where we found him and some even taking down his details! Steven is sooo approachable and always up for a good laugh he is a pleasure to be around, good vibes only!! He will go out of his way & make sure everyone is happy and really gets the guests involved! We are so thankful to you Steven for your amazing talent and helping us have the most perfect wedding day. Stephen has such an energy about him that lights up the room. We have just had Stephen play at our wedding and cant rate him highly enough. Such a professional singer/artist throughout.We really enjoyed his music and the guests were all raving about him through out the day. He sang our chosen songs through out the day, from down the aisle, up the aisle and first dance.There was not a dry eye in the house!! Attended one of Steven Heaths gigs this weekend and was absolutely blown away! The atmosphere he created was very friendly and electrifying! His performance was incredible and his humor topped it all off! Would definitely go again and look forward to him performing at my event. Would definitely recommend this dude.

We’re so so pleased that we chose Steven Heath to sing at our Wedding Reception in June, he was absolutely BRILLIANT!Such a genuine and nice guy, he was very professional and the communication between booking him and our special day was spot on. We were invited to his VIP Facebook page after booking which was great to watch his live performances and Jam sessions! We also went to watch Steven live at The Potting Shed in Guiseley which made us so excited to see him perform on our Wedding Day!On the big day itself Steven exceeded all our expectations! We knew he would be good but wow he really was fantastic! He was charismatic and entertaining as well as a very talented singer of course! The mixture of songs that he performed were perfect and he kept the dance floor full all night (a challenging feat considering lots of our guests were outside as the weather outside was amazing but our venues music licence meant that he could only sing inside!).As I work in Weddings myself I have listened to some questionable performances and some very poor singers. Steven however was FANTASTIC in every way! He was very flexible with his timings on the night and seemed like he genuinely wanted to have a great time! His positive energy was brilliant and we felt like we’d known him forever! Even our DJ who I work with said that he was one of if not THE best singer/performer he’d ever worked alongside!Overall if in doubt, BOOK STEVEN HEATH! There’s a reason he has so many AMAZING reviews! He was worth every penny and more and we will definitely go to see him again when we can! 🤩

Wow!!! How do I put into words the feedback and whole ‘Steven Heath’ experience I’ve had at my wedding (and the lead up to it)!? I’m taking the time to write this review the day after my wedding before I lose this feeling of real gratitude and awe....Steven literally made the day, he was the first thing everyone could talk about today and everyone was in absolute awe of him! If you are looking for a fun, audience engaging, party making, positive and amazing singer for your wedding then look no further! Absolutely we would recommend Steven!!!!! Without a doubt. It’s a strange story how we came to book Steven... we were walking our dog near a wedding venue which had a wedding fair on and we heard someone singing in the courtyard and I say to my now husband. That’s exactly what I want! So we put the dog in the car for a minute and followed the singing and found Steven. Boom booked him that day and not looked back since. We then when to My Thai to listen to him play which was such a lovely thing to do and now booked to see him play in October in York. People at our wedding first thought it was a CD until they saw Steven at the back of the room. He was great with answering questions, Jam nights on the sofa where we could hear songs before we picked them. As the weather was good all our guests were outside so Steven moved to where ever he could to keep playing so everyone could hear him. He was fab! Steven also booked our DJ too which was great and made us feel that we didn’t need to worry all day as everything was sorted for music and entertainment. Thanks Steven you legend!

Wow what to say about Steven, he is amazing!! He sang all day at our wedding and what an atmosphere he creates, from moving the room to tears while I walked down the aisle to having a jam packed dance floor all night. AMAZING!! I booked Steven a while ago for our wedding and we decided to book him just for the evening. It was therefore a fantastic surprise for me on the day when my now Husband told me that Steven was going to be there for the full day! Steven was absolutely fantastic and really made our day what it was, everybody commented on how fabulous he was! He did our songs in and out of church, then during the drinks reception and of course the evening sets! He got everybody on their feet and singing along. Above all of that though, he is the nicest guy you could ever wish to meet, it was an absolute pleasure to have him share our day with us. The biggest advice I can give you is to book him all day, it can seem pricey on top of everything else but you get what you pay for and he was worth every single penny! Thanks Steven 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Where to start with saying how amazing Steven is! From the day we booked him to the day off we’ve been 100% confident with Steven as our wedding entertainment, he kept myself, Dan and all our guests entertained throughout the day and well into the evening. All our guests loved him and complimented us on choosing him. From the point of booking Steven absolutely understood our vision and helped create the best atmosphere with music we all loved. What can I say about Steven, firstly he is a very talented singer and musician who was a big part of making our wedding the amazing day it was. Singing for our first dance outside was perfect along with the range of different songs he performed for us. He even let one of the guests take over! You'd struggle to find anyone better & the interaction through Facebook you get from Steven from booking until the big day and beyond is brilliant & made us feel relaxed about everything and part of a new community

Last Saturday myself and my beautiful bride Emma and our guests had the honour and privilege of having Steven perform at our wedding and perform our 1st dance for us. I honestly do not have the words to do say just how amazing Steve is justice. From the first moment of contact to the day and I'm sure for along time to come he has been absolutely top drawer. His professionalism is second to none, his performance was just like our 1st dance perfect and his humour and humble ness sets everything off so well. I honestly can not praise the Man high enough. If you are looking for someone not just to sing at your wedding or event but perform and entertain this is the only person I would recommend.

Steve was exceptional from our very first phone call with him right through to our wedding and the end of our night.He is not only a talented and adaptable musician, but a natural entertainer who knows exactly how and where to set different tones and moods, from the ceremony right through to party time. The atmosphere he created really made the day, he had everyone dancing, made us all laugh, and we didn't stop hearing from our guests all night about how much they enjoyed his performances. He was all people could talk about! To anyone unsure or on the fence about booking Steve - just do it! He's a genuinely lovely bloke, a brilliant artist and he'll absolutely make your day, I can't encourage it enough. We were lucky enough to see Steve in Manchester before our wedding too and will certainly be catching his future gigs - do go and see him, you won't regret it.

Steven is a true professional and a really nice guy and made my daughter and new son in laws wedding perfect in every way with his music in the evening at Beeston Manor in Houghton, whilst playing to the most amazing sunset backdrop. Great song choices, interacts with the guests and even played the first dance “Iris” by Goo Goo Dolls. Totally memorable, I would not hesitate in recommending Steven for your wedding.

We booked Steven Heath for our wedding in August- we booked him for the whole day and... THANK GOD WE DID!Music was one of the main things we was worrying about prior to the wedding with entertainment been something we didn’t want to get wrong. Some questions we asked ourselves--Will there be something for everyone’s music taste?-Will people get bored throughout the day?-Will the dance floor be empty?My gosh, why did I worry about these things having booked Steven Heath?!What an amazing singer and born entertainer... he can play a few notes on the guitar too 😜. Honestly, our wedding day was beautiful, however the one thing people kept talking about was Steven Heath!! One person even said ‘where did you get this guy from... he’s better than Ed Sheeran’ now I don’t know if Steven would take this as a compliment or not but it shows how much people enjoyed his music!! He sang a few songs as guests were arriving which everyone said were just perfect at setting the scene. We didn’t have to worry about a thing as Steven took over from here. He sang ‘Your song’ by Elton John as we walked down the aisle which was the most beautiful version and made me cry.. in a good way!! He also sang at the wedding breakfast and his song choices were just perfect and he created such a relaxed atmosphere! He also got a little sing song going with the guests which was lovely to see! Evening entertainment wise we booked Steven in conjunction with Pat Milligan the DJ. If you want a full dance floor ALL night then just book these two together! Honestly so many compliments about the music played but also about their ability to get people up and in the party mood! Steven played a couple of sets throughout the night and his choice of songs got everyone up on the dance floor! Everyone was so excited every time he started playing a song which shows how good the song choices were and how well they were played!Finally, Steven is so professional and a lovely guy who wants to make sure every guest has the best time! He also provides amazing customer service leading up to the wedding.. I’ve lost track of how many times I emailed/ messaged stressing and Steven put me at ease and responded so quickly!! He was also able to help with my last minute song changes and accommodated these amazingly during my bridezilla moments. This review will not do Steven Heath justice but please just book as you will not be disappointed! I can now see why Steven Heath is, deservedly, a four times award winner at The Wedding Industry Awards.

Steven is a great guy and star performer. When we booked Steve he didn’t know our song but spent the time to perfect it and I was so blown away by his version when walking down the aisle it helped me with my nerves. We chose Steven to play at our wedding after seeing him at a friend's wedding where he was amazing and he was just as incredible at ours this weekend. He had everyone up and dancing from the first dance to the last and even got one of the shyest groomsmen singing his heart out in front of the whole wedding which had to be one of the highlights from the day. We can't recommend Steven enough to any one for any event. Cheers Steven for adding so much fun, singing and laughter to our wedding day.

Steven had recently performed at my Son's Wedding. He was there all day entertaining the guests as they arrived. Performed at the wedding ceremony before the bride arrived which helped the time fly while we waited, also after the wedding feast he sang most of the time entertaining guests in the anti room. I especially liked the ask for requests bit it got the guests involved . He also sang in the dance floor which helped get people up and dancing. A real change from the usual DJ. I would highly recommend Steven for not only Wedding's but for all entertainment needs. Well done Steven you helped make the wedding more enjoyable for all guests.

We booked Steven for our annual works trip to York Races. We have sole use of the Ebor Restaurant, and Steven played during the afternoon tea. He was amazing, I have had some amazing feedback from our employees and guests about him .... Would definately re book him .... A Huge Thank you Steven x

WOW!Steve played at our wedding breakfast on 17.08.18 and it was amazing. From the very start we wanted our wedding breakfast to be more livley then some we had previously attended. I had been to many where guests have gone into a 'food coma' once they have eaten thus resulting in a bit of a lull before the night guest arrive. Pretty much straight after i proposed to my now wife Rebecca, id put some generic search in my google machine and up popped Steve. We watched his videos and knew he was the one for us. Since then its been a real journey. Although our wedding was a year away Steve pretty much streams videos and jam sessions each month which not only showed off his skills but allowed us to pick out some of our favorite tunes and make some of our own requests. Steve also sent us a CD with 11 cover tracks he had recorded. This pretty much became the staple musical breakfast on the daily school run for the last year with our little boy Harry referring to Steve as 'AL' after his brilliant rendition of the Paul Simon Classic - 'Call me Al'Totally professional throughout the day went off better than can be expected (try to watch the video if you can) we had people singing and dancing mid afternoon with everything from Oasis to Cliff Richard (mother in laws request) and the feel good factor continued throughout the evening. We could not recommend Steven enough, comments from our guests included...'Your wedding singer was absolutely amazing, he added such a personal touch as if he is your family friend'We met Steven over a year ago when we went to see him perform in our local area, we introduced ourselves and although a year later and booked up, he knew our wedding venue and date! Amazing! Since then Steven has got to know us, know the music that we love and on our special day he did amazing at creating an atmosphere that reflected our lives and what we love to do.Our first dance was outside around a firepit, he sang the song I walked down the isle to, followed by another favourite 'JCB song' We cannot thank you enough. You sound amazing, you are professional but most importantly you are relaxed and very fun, that reflected on our guests, they enjoyed themselves, sang along and danced the night away.Best advise.... I know it's the done thing to write a rave review, but seriously, if you are looking for a live musician and you are able to book him, Steven is amazing. I work full time as a wedding entertainer myself and as a result I get to see a lot of performers... Steven is about the best I've heard. After being lucky enough to have him sing as I walked my daughter down the aisle I can promise you that he's definitely something special for your big day.

We booked Steven for the full day of our wedding on Saturday and from singing whilst guests arrived in church, to late night sing-a-longs in the Grain Silo at Skipbridge he was amazing and made sure our wedding was filled with good music and laughs the whole day. As well as providing the obviously incredible music he helped the day run smoothly, from making sure I walked down the aisle to a specific part of a song, to welcoming us into the meal, introducing our speeches and more! What can we say?! Steven was absolutely fantastic at our wedding, he played in the woodlands for our ceremony and also at our drinks reception, and he was absolutely incredible! All of our guests loved him and were all asking where they can book him! It wasn’t just at the wedding though, everything before hand with the live shows and Q and As were so useful and really reassured us what songs to pick etc. We wouldn’t hesistate to book him for anything else and if you are thinking of booking him, definitely do it!!

We were unsure about having entertainment at all during our wedding, but we can safely say that the day and night would not have been nearly as memorable without Steve. We were convinced our families wouldn't enjoy sitting around a fire, singing songs, but Steve's personality and humour relaxed everyone instantly and he had everyone singing by the end of the evening. Steve completely took the pressure off me and my wife. He took on entertaining all of our guests and made the evening the first time we had properly relaxed in around 4 weeks in the run up to the day. Despite playing for hours, people were still absolutely gutted when he had to stop, although you get the feeling he would have stayed if he were legally allowed. We are already talking about when we might be able to re-book Steve, and would urge anyone on the fence to go with him. Professional, fun, and a pleasure to share our day with him.

We definitely couldn't recommend Steven highly enough. He really added so much to our wedding day, and kept our guests (and us!) entertained for hours! He got everyone singing along, knew how to please the crowd and was an absolute all round entertainer. We have some absolutely priceless memories of Steven performing on our wedding day - from singing 'We Didn't Start the Fire', with made-up, off-the-cuff words to accompanying 'Chad' singing American Pie. Where do I even start with reviewing Steven... We first saw Steven at the Oakwell Hall wedding fair, a few months before our wedding there. We were looking around the stalls set up when we noticed him playing in the courtyard. After watching and then chatting for a while, we decided to ask whether Steven if he knew any Manic Street Preachers and after a performance of La Tristesse Durera we knew we had to get him booked. We hadn’t planned on having a live singer at our wedding but knew the atmosphere would be incredible if we did. We decided to book Steven for the full day having him sing during our ceremony, then during the afternoon and evening. During the months before we were added to Steven’s ‘backstage area’ on Facebook which gives you access to his live Jam Nights, Q&A sessions etc. Steven is super responsive to any queries you have and was more than happy to speak with us on a few occasions over the phone. He was also more than happy to accommodate any requests we had, such as ‘no Ed Sheeran please’ on the day (apologises to any die hard Sheeran fans...)When I arrived at Oakwell Hall on the morning of the wedding (18.05.18), as I went into the back to speak with the registrar I could hear Steven already playing for our guests as they were waiting. This made me feel relaxed and the best thing with Steven is, is that he knows exactly what to play to suit the audience he has. He created a very calming environment. Steven did an absolutely beautiful version of Landslide by Fleetwood Mac for when I was walking down the aisle following by plucked acoustic instrumental during the ceremony. Although that part of the day is a bit of a blur, I can remember thinking how perfect it was. Steven then performed two afternoon sets followed by two during the evening. We had guests coming up to us all throughout the day telling us how great he was, in particular when he did a banging version of Africa by Toto... (serious highlight of the day)!Our first dance was to Golden Years by David Bowie which again, Steven did an incredible performance of. Whilst practicing the song we received video clips etc to make sure we were happy with how it was coming along. Throughout the evening our guests really enjoyed the sets Steven did and there was plenty of dancing and singing along to a huge variation of songs.The atmosphere was exactly how we imagined and we can’t thank Steven enough for being a massive and unforgettable part of our day.

After going to another wedding and seeing Steven performing, Adam came home and didn’t stop talking about the guitarist. So much so, he took the decision to book for our wedding. From the moment we made contact, Steven was professional and extremely approachable. Nothing was too. If or to small to ask for. We ended up travelling to York to see him too. All our guests enjoyed the live music and the fact I could walk down the aisle to the song I wanted played live was amazing. He even moved venues to play during our drinks reception. Steve is a lovely guy and a musician I feel privileged to have seen live a number of times recently. Not many artists have made me feel in so many ways. The first occasion, he had me on the verge of tears with his rendition of "Fix You" by Coldplay. The next time I saw him there was a great gathering and singalong in Leeds City Centre on hearing "Hey Jude" and much rocking out and dancing to "Superstition" along with other awesome street musicians in the name of Jonny Walker. Then to my surprise last week I found myself doubled up laughing. "Maya Jagger wants me to play 'Moves Like Jagger'... Why not!" he said, playing a daft request of mine over a livestream. Lots of fun is Steve. His moods express themselves very clearly as he plays, and so his audience are carried by the waves. Somewhere along the way he's even helped me conquer a fear - singing in front of people. He followed, playing "Days", one of my favourites by The Kinks that I am so happy he knew. Great repertoire of songs. There is something very poignant about Steve Heath. He has this natural ability to entertain a crowd too - enabling them to loosen up and have a good time - enjoying himself all the while. I would support his musical journey with pleasure.

I must admit I was somewhat apprehensive as I booked Steven after having come across him purely by chance whilst searching the internet for a musician for the party and I usually avoid booking such things without personal recommendations. I needn't have worried :) From the very first time I made contact with Steven he was so professional and a really nice person as well. He confirmed the details a few days before the party, arrived in plenty of time to set up and the actual singing and playing was superb. Wow what a guy. Laura my daughter and James her new husband booked Steven to sing at their wedding all day. The wedding ceremony was outside in the woods and Steven was really flexible singing outside with his guitar. Laura was half an hour late which meant Steven sang his own extended version of Tenerife Sea by Ed Sheeran. Wow! was it amazing! His tone and soul really touched me making me cry as I walked down the aisle. Steven also sang outside most of the day into the evening and for the first dance. He also sang duets with guests (good ones). He stayed well after he should have finished for the evening, singing round the camp fire in the woods. Steven contributed to the amazing atmosphere throughout the day, is extremely flexible, an incredible singer and such a nice guy.

As soon as we booked Steven we knew we'd made the right choice. He video called us to have a chat and was the most friendly guy. My husband and I messaged him so many times in the build up to our wedding and within minutes Steven was back in touch. He bought some special string lighting that worked so well in the venue. On the day when the sun was shining Steven came outside and sat on hay bails with us singing with the guests and took song requests all day. He even let guests sing whilst he played. Absolutely perfect. He played from 1pm to 11pm with few breaks and was so happy and lively on the day. Recently attended my nephews wedding at The Lowry in Manchester and when I had asked what the entertainment was going to be was told a singer would be on. So so glad they picked that option. Steven was pure class. Great sound and his range of genres catered for both young and old. Kept the dance floor busy all night but most importantly played and sang so well with just the right amount of interaction with the guests rather than just listening to a DJ overdoing it on the mic. I booked Steven to play at a charity ball I was organising - he was even better than I thought he would be. He knew exactly what to play to get everybody dancing, his voice was excellent and everybody commented on how great he was. He really topped the night off! We booked Steven to do the evening entertainment for our wedding and couldn't have been happier. The whole process, right from bumping into him at a wedding fair (where he played our first dance song on the spot in front of us), to the actual evening of our wedding, Steven makes simple. He's incredibly friendly and personable, and is always available should you need any tips, advice on music. For our wedding he played three live sets, and his range of songs were fantastic, and really had the guests up on their feet. Not only is Steven a talented musician, but the relationship he created with our guests in between songs helped make the evening even more enjoyable, including taking a request for a Status Quo song he didn't know all the words to. He still played it (quite brilliantly) so long as we'd do the singing, our guests loved it! We had guests all evening telling us how talented Steven was, and how much they enjoyed the music.If you love a bit of top quality live music, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Steven to do the entertainment for your wedding day!

Steven played at our wedding on Friday 7th April 2017 at The Mere in Knutsford during the ceremony, reception drinks and the evening reception and DJ'd as part of the Platinum Package. He absolutely made our day and night and he is all any of our guests have talked about over the last couple of days...In short: If you have already booked Steven you are in safe hands and will have an exceptional wedding; and if you are just considering booking him then you really need to- I guarantee you will not be disappointed!If, like us you are a bride/groom who is pouring over Trip Advisor and google with military precision when you really should be going to sleep then read on: I am into my music. I've studied it, played it and lived and breathed it in my family from an early age. Every memory is linked to a song or two and we love nothing more than to spend a date night watching live music over a few drinks. When my husband and I were making our initial wedding plans, we decided that we wanted to incorporate some live music to give our celebration the vibe we were looking for. As an anxious bride, I also decided that having a live musician would overcome concerns about the music being too quietly/played at the wrong time etc.And so the search began. I spent months googling agency websites, going to wedding fayres to listen to bands, asking friends for recommendations and could not find what we were looking for. I seemed to be seeing the same 'beige' set lists of overplayed songs that I wasn't interested in hearing and especially not at my wedding and at best, a lot of dated, Michael Buble wannabes singing over backing tracks and butchering songs. We were starting to lose all hope of finding the right act for us and we're going to just book a DJ, until in a stroke of fate, another singer/guitarist who we had enquired about said he was unavailable and recommended Steven Heath Music. Our first thoughts were that Yorkshire was probably too far for him to travel but I clicked onto the website and started to listen to the samples. Steven had a beautiful voice and was an equally talented guitarist. He was a true musician. His set list particularly caught my eye because of the range of indie songs and songs that only a skilled musician would dare to tackle. I instantly knew that we had to book Steven and convinced my husband of it. After sending a message, Steven called to have an initial chat and warned me in no uncertain terms, that if I was looking for an average Michael Buble-esque typical wedding singer than he wouldn't fit the bill. Sold! We also got into a chat about a cover we'd heard of Paul Simon's Sound of Silence (his favourite artist) and he spoke about how it lost some of the musicality as it was too heavy an arrangement. Steven said how he liked to make sure the musical phrasing of the words meant they didn't get lost in a song. As an English teacher, I knew exactly what he meant as I seemed to be choosing wedding songs for both the words they contained and the atmosphere and feel they created. He spoke about how songs needed to be poetic and this struck a chord with me. Right away I knew he was 'The One' for our wedding. We were initially just enquiring about an evening set, but as soon as I started to hear more of Steven's arrangements I knew I couldn't miss the opportunity to have him play at our ceremony and having flat, empty, music on CDs would have been sacrilege, in contrast to his intricate, acoustic versions. We discussed our budget concerns and made the discussion to stretch it and Steven was very understanding and discussed many different options with me so that I could ensure I knew I was selecting the right package for us. The platinum package was worth every penny and I am so glad I went for it!Steven somehow manages to strike the perfect balance of being ever the consummate professional who pays attention to every detail and makes sure everything is slick, with being a genuinely, lovely, warm, approachable guy. Planning a wedding is hard work and time consuming but chatting to him never felt like a chore. He took a genuine interest in our wedding and in how we we handling the pressure of planning in the build-up to our big day. Steven spent a lot of time helping me to personalise our day, whilst also giving honest advice about what he felt would and wouldn't work. The outcome was a perfect collection of songs for our day that were special to us and incorporated all of our guests too. The lovely thing is that now some of my memories of the weekend are starting to blur a little, I can attach key moments to a beautiful soundtrack and know there are now songs that whenever I hear them again on the radio will carry me back to our wonderful day. From walking down the aisle to a stunning arrangement of It Must be Love where Steven set absolutely the right romantic ambiance to being whisked off at high speed in a golf buggy, giggling as we could hear Steven belting out Oliver's Army on a veranda overlooking the 18th hole. He even learned our first dance Lionel Richie's My Destiny (a cheesy pop song that was playing on our iPad a few weeks after we met and my husband said he was going to have that as our first dance one day). Steven managed to make it sound cool and Indie and in-keeping with the other songs and it meant we could relax as we took to the floor- something we had both been dreading. After opening our evening with a beautifully chilled set of the likes of Fast Car and Chasing Cars which created a lovely sentimental atmosphere, Steven the got out the loop pedal, upped the tempo and had the the whole of our guests, bopping, moshing and belting out some 90s classics. Ever the professional (and the ex-teacher), inbetween joking around with our crowd, Steven put safety first and cut short James's sit Down as my husband was being paraded Jewish wedding style in the air by his football team. A personal thanks for preventing our married life from being cut short Steven ha. If I'm going to be completely honest here (as I know some of you will have reservations and that's why you're reading the reviews section), having opted for the platinum package, we were a little apprehensive about spending such a large proportion of our budget on live music but Steven was worth every penny and absolutely made every part of our day and night special. I am absolutely certain that we would not have had the incredible time we did if a Steven hadn't been there. And so here we are a few days later, with all my guests still gushing about how fantastic Steven was and what an absolutely lovely, funny bloke he is- especially for a Yorkshire man ha! We are already all planning to all go and see him again somehow as we don't want our wedding to be the first and only time we have had the absolute privilege of hearing the beautiful sound of his voice and guitar. We found out that are wedding venue are even trying to book him now having never met him previously.So once again Steven, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the wedding you gave us and you are single-handedly responsible for. You have managed to please 120 guests and a bride and groom and given us a beautiful soundtrack to a beautiful day which I know we will cherish forever. We listened to lots of his samples beforehand and thought he would be great but you still do wonder what someone will deliver on the day. Well he certainly delivered and even exceeded our expectations! He really added to the atmosphere from when I first heard him as we walked down the aisle all the way up to the end of the evening. My Wife and I got married at The Devonshire Arms at Bolton Abbey on the 23rd Dec 2016. We were after some entertainment for our evening do, preferably DJ music but with something a little extra. We did a search for wedding singers in Yorkshire and came across a number of results, Steven being one of them. We used Steven's excellent website to watch and listen to some of his set list and really liked his style of singing and the types of music he played. We got in touch and chatted through our plans for the evening and decided that Steven would be great!Prior to the day, Steven asked for a list of songs that we liked and would like to hear. I used his set list as a prompt for some but then also just sent over about 150 songs for him to browse through to help put together our evening selection, including our 1st dance song which was Tenerife Sea by Ed Sheeran.On the day, Steven did our 1st dance and into some easy listening music for half an hour, then did 2 x 45 min live sets to fill the dance floor! He sounded great, absolutely everyone commented to us about how good the singer was and asked where we found him, and the combination of the live performing with the DJ sets as well just gave us such an amazing party night. We were so thankful for the way he effortlessly controlled the party and got the vibe right all evening with songs to sing out loud too and songs you simply want to get on the dance floor with your mates and dance too.He is performing at a venue not far from us in the next few weeks and we can't wait to go and hear him again and thank him in person once again for the great show he put on. What a fabulous guy!! I am from the Wirral and took my Dad out to Dukes in Manchester for Fathers Day this year, and Steven was performing in the bar. He was so fab, I asked if he did weddings. We got married on 29th December, Steven sung whilst guests arrived to our venue in Liverpool, sung me down the aisle, sung during our drinks reception, did our first dance and two evening sets! We booked Steve for our wedding after seeing him at other weddings and after many people saying that he made their night. They were definitely right! If we hadn't booked him I don't think our wedding reception would have been half as good. He tailors his set to get everyone on their feet and dancing. He even let me sing for a couple of songs! He also use loops to build up tracks on the spot which is something I've never seen from a wedding singer and that makes him unique! 10/10 would book again!

Steven isnt just a wedding singer, we asked him to come and play at my 40th birthday party we were holding at home. His performance was excellent and adjusted his set up to my front room bay window without any fuss (although he did say it was the strangest place he'd played), he entertained our guests all night with a great mix of music and everyone had a great night. We wanted a relaxed house party atmosphere at our wedding and Steven certainly delivered! He sang during our ceremony, drinks reception and then was doing a set after our meal. In addition to this Steven kindly took responsibility for the background music during the meal leaving us with nothing to do but relax and enjoy ourselves. Through out the day we had a constant stream of guests and hotel staff commenting how great Steven was. We finished the evening with a singalong and what a singalong it was! Steven has a great personality and had a fantastic rapport with guests, he played loads of requests and acquired so many groupies that he ended up singing far longer than initially planned. The atmosphere all day was spot on and the many great comments we kept hearing added to how much we enjoyed our day.Not only is Steven incredibly talented but he is a great person who went above and beyond to make our day perfect. Steven thoroughly entertained us all at my sister's wedding in August! The venue for their wedding celebration was in their garden and resembled a mini festival- Steven wasn't phased at all and he was truly fantastic! Wow... What can we say about Steven? After stunning recommendations from our friends and neighbours at Skipbridge Country Weddings we already had high expectations of Steven. But nothing could have prepared us for quite how amazing he was! Right from the very start he was professional, happy to go out of his way to help and made the atmosphere at our wedding perfect. He sang our first dance song, which is our favourite and now we prefer his version to the original. We can not thank or recommend Steven enough for how amazing he made our wedding day, without him it really would not have been as incredible! Multi- talented as a singer and a DJ, and he fit in with our friends and family just perfectly. Everyone is still raving about his music and especially his sing alongs in the whisky shack and round the fire pit. We even have had a friend cancel her wedding DJ to try and book Steven for her wedding day! steve gave our wedding day the perfect special touch we had hoped for and a beautiful surprise for everyone. He made the church ceromonay one to remember entertaining our guests on arrival to the church, then singing me down the isle and during the signing of the marriage register, it defiantly made it fun and the time there went smooth and defiantly not long and drawn for the guests (even though I was 2minutes late haha) . Well what can I say...... what a fantastic guy, singer & guitarist! Steven sang at our wedding on saturday 11th June 2016 & what a fab night we all had! I found Steve here on Facebook & were shocked to find out he only lives on the next street from our farm! We can see his house from ours! We were his closest venue he has ever sang at! His wife could hear him singing! We have become great friends & will continue to be friends. Steve is such a kind, polite & really friendly man! Can’t praise Steven enough! Like most people we were unsure of how to the approach our evening entertainment and weren’t really liking what we were seeing/finding. This generally came down to Quality of performance (i.e. YouTube, SoundCloud etc), Price, Website, Previous reviews etc. No one was fully ticking the box until we stumbled across Steven.His manner and attitude made him stand out and the performance on the night was legendary. We (and all our guests) had a highly enjoyable experience of Steven and I would have no hesitations giving him my personal recommendation.

We had him at our wedding this weekend and were blown away by his voice, how he worked the crowd,how polite he was and how he just fit in. Thank you for performing at our wedding at Hollins Hall. You did a brilliant job and lots of people commented about how good you were so much so some were asking for your details for the future. I also appreciate that as there was a 45 min delay you had to mix up the set list and just generally play off what the crowd wanted to hear which was you playing mostly. As you can remember the dance floor was pretty much full all the time you were playing. Heather and I as a result had a fantastic time in the evening as did all our guests. He was so easy to work with and he wasn’t afraid to offer his opinion on what he thinks works well (after all he knows how to put on a good show!). The banter he had with the crowd was great and it all added up to a great evening, we couldn’t have chosen the set better and all the songs we requested were done superbly – Footloose was a real highlight! We cannot recommend him more highly, he kept the party going from the first dance onwards and we could not have wished for more.

If you think you don’t need Steven at your wedding then you are WRONG. The best investment we made.We first met Steven at a wedding show & got in touch with him for prices when we were planning our wedding. We went back and forth a few times and nearly didn’t book due to budget but thank god we did. Steven completely made our day and we had so many guests complimenting him. The drinks reception music set the tone so well and the way he welcomed us into the wedding breakfast was my personal highlight. The way he hosts the speeches and gets everyone pumped up after a big meal is absolutely worth its weight in gold. Completely fantastic!!Thank you so much Steven for making our day so so incredible. First heard Steve at a wedding fayre and got chatting to him. He asked what our wedding song was (Elvis - cant help falling in love) and while me and my partner were chatting he started singing it. We both knew we had to book him from then! It made us both emotional. Never envisioned anyone other than the Elvis version for our first dance but he had us!Fast forward to our big day and he worked hand in hand with our DJ, had the place jumping with great tunes and good banter with our guests. He has a great sense of humour and we couldn't have picked a better person for our entertainment on our big day.All the guests commented on how good he was and he made it a night to remember. For those who may be on the fence about whether they should book Steve for me it was the best decision we made.We booked Steve to host the day time and he truly made the day fantastic. At the wedding breakfast he truly came into his element. All our guest were firing song suggestions at him and it completely brought energy and a fantastic vibe into the room. Everyone was singing and having a great time. Right before the speeches he started a game called guess the song. This went down so so well and eventually lead to 2 of our guest stood up at the front having a sing off which was truly special. Where to begin!. Music was always going to be an important part of our wedding day. As soon as we met Steve we knew we had to have him as our wedding host and musician. We opted for the full day package and are so pleased we did. From the ceremony, the bridal entrance song, singing at the reception and wedding breakfast to performing in the evening and filling the dance floor, Steve was just perfect at every stage of our wedding.We also loved how Steve involved our children in the day. Our little boy is learning to play the guitar and Steve let him have a go on his guitar at the end of our first dance and gave him the gift of a plectrum which he was over the moon about.We have had so many compliments from guests saying how amazing he was. Only wish we had you with us for longer!We discovered Steven through a recommendation, music was a very important part of our day so we needed it to fit with what our vision for the day was. Within a few hours of contacting Steven on his website he was quick to respond and called us for a friendly, informal chat. Steven was very down to earth, professional and the vibe felt spot on... We were sold!Closer to the big day Steven sent us a form to fill out and was in regular contact with regards to the structure of the day and what we wanted... You could tell he really wanted to get things right for us!We chose Stevens 'Sunny Afternoon' package, from when guests took their seats through to the wedding chow down. His music within the setting of our woodland wedding was simply beautiful. We hired Steven for our wedding and he was fantastic! Played background music during the ceremony but then swapped it up for 2 sets during afternoon drinks and first dance/evening set. He changed up the tunes on the fly to suit the crowd and kept the dance floor full! Highly recommended!!!

Why are ten stars not an option?!? Steven sang at our wedding last Saturday and provided beautiful music for the ceremony and drinks reception, with all our guests commenting on how ace he was. But he really knocked it out of the park when it came to the evening set- I don't think anyone dared leave the dancefloor the whole time as it was banger after banger. Steve also indulged in some light heckling from the crowd and even got the world's most awkward and self conscious groomsmen up for an epic rap.We couldn't have imagined a better start to our night and he was also beyond kind and warm to us on the day and throughout the planning. Steven played at my nieces wedding recently, both after the ceremony, during the meal and then in the evening.He was perfect, it wasn’t too loud, but it was enough to catch your ear, sing a few lines look over to a relative as you had recognised a song.In the evening, he engaged with the crowd, made us laugh, took requests, even sang ‘Let it go!’ to my 5 year old Granddaughter, he was just perfect, I would definitely recommend him for a wedding, and I am sure he is pretty cool to see at any other even too!

Steven played our wedding in October and was incredible. Our one request was that he got people dancing and well, he did that and then some!Our guests loved it and we had so many amazing compliments on how great he was and the atmosphere he helped create. Cant recommend Steven enough. He sang at our daughters wedding in the Saddle Rooms in Yorkshire and he kept us all up dancing all night he was brilliant and funny lots of banter going on. He even got to do a duet with one of the wedding party. He was a true entertainer involving everyone in act.🙌🙌

Stephen performed at my daughters wedding. What can I say!!! We got Steven for our wedding and he was a MASSIVE hit with all our family and friends!Steven sang at our drinks reception and sang our first dance, which then got everyone on the dance floor and did not want to leave, nor wanted Steven to leave!He also introduced our speeches, cutting of the cake and first dance. I haven’t had the pleasure yet of having Steven sing at our wedding due to Covid last year he wasn’t able to attend due to the restrictions. However, he was fantastic with advice on what her could offer, structure and amend his set to what we wanted. Steven is an absolute professional and provides a 5-star service every time! He took the time to get to know me and my music tastes in preparation for my event. He has an excellent repertoire and the range and variety of songs he covers is immense. His guitar skills are awesome and he builds his own backing tracks live as part of the performance using a loop pedal, to great effect. His voice is excellent and appeals to a wide range of listeners of all ages and tastes. His performance at my birthday party was very well received with lots of compliments from my diverse and eclectic crowd!! The dance floor was full! The only negative was that we didn't want it to end!! Steven's own tracks are awesome too, and certainly entertained the crowd as much as the classics. I would recommend Steven for all events where live music would be appropriate.

Steven was phenomenal, an expert guitarist who played a wide selection of tunes competently and energetically. Steven was entertaining, offering excellent renditions of everything from The Beatles through to Frozen. He knew how to motivate and captivate an audience. I for one was disappointed when he finally left the stage. I'd been strumming along with him for the best part of an hour, even though I've never played a guitar in my life. Hugely recommended!

Steven sang at our wedding 3.5 weeks ago, he was brilliant every step of the way from first enquiring and booking; keeping in touch during covid and helping us understand how the changing restrictions would affect our day; planning the timings of the day, his sets and specific songs for walking down the aisle, signing the register and back up the aisle. Steven sang beautifully and kept our guests entertained with his humour, rapping and taking requests. Steven made the day for us, was the glue holding it all together and was just like having another guest. All our friends and family were very impressed and we’d recommend him for any occasion!
